Gabriela is a London based artist, illustrator and textile pattern designer. Gabriela creates art and illustrations for her picture books, textiles, homeware, fabric, furniture, stationery and ceramics. Her creative world derives from her passion in storytelling, folk art, the natural world and patterns. There is a naive, poetic and playful spirit captured in her art and a strong connection between memories of her childhood in El Salvador and her body of work: tortoises, fish, plants, insects, plants and all the creatures and elements found in her work.
