Sarah Raphael-Balme trained at Chelsea College of Art and grew up in a house brimming with creativity. With a worldly and cultured aesthetic, she sees her work as dreamlike, full of luminous creatures and vivid stories. Sarah’s collection is heavily influenced by ancient Indian art. “I see the paintings as an abundance of precious jewels, birds like luminous topaz, vivid and gleaming, laced with flowers, a whisper away from dreams, a mood drenched with creatures and stories,” Sarah explains.
