Madeleine works from a studio at the foot of the Downs where she is surrounded by nature, birds and wildlife and always aware of the elements and changing seasons.
Within her art she is seeking authentic expression through connection with the natural world and the stories that run deep through the land.
With a degree in Narrative illustration, Madeleine still relishes an element of story telling within her work. Originally working within the publishing industry with many clients, her practice has evolved to printmaking and fine art, allowing herself more of a depth of reflection.
