Anne Smith is an ex-Bostonian who migrated to London, now settled in the countryside of East Sussex.
Anne’s practice incorporates the spirit and formality of traditional Persian/Indian manuscript painting while exploring a play of visual language. She works with the concept of containers, specifically vessels and pages, to give form to that which cannot be seen.
